Job summary

Accor in India is seeking an Income Auditor to audit daily hotel revenues, verify transactions, and ensure compliance with financial policies. You will reconcile diverse revenue streams, identify discrepancies, and produce per‑shift audit reports for management and regulatory needs.

The role requires a commerce/finance background, 4–5 years in hotel finance or accounting, and proficiency with PMS/POS systems, Excel, and financial controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in hotel finance, income audit, night audit, or accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of hotel revenue operations and accounting practices.
• Experience with PMS and POS systems preferred.
• Good understanding of revenue reconciliation, taxation, and financial controls.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily audit of hotel revenue from rooms, food & beverage, banquets, spa, laundry, and other operating departments.
• Verify daily revenue reports generated from PMS, POS, and other hotel systems.
• Reconcile room revenue, guest accounts, city ledger, and cash transactions.
• Ensure all revenue postings are accurate and supported by proper documentation.
• Identify discrepancies, errors, and unusual transactions and report findings to management.
• Review complimentary rooms, discounts, rebates, voids, and adjustments for proper authorization.
• Prepare daily audit reports and maintain audit logs for management review and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor revenue system controls and identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls.
• Investigate and resolve revenue discrepancies in coordination with department heads and finance team.
• Ensure adherence to corporate accounting policies and hotel procedures.
• Assist with month-end and period-end closing procedures, including revenue accruals.
• Provide training to hotel staff on revenue recording procedures and system usage.
