Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in import procurement and logistics is preferred.
• Proficiency with MIS reporting and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Support annual import requirement planning and consolidation across plants/locations.
• Coordinate annual and monthly rate contracts for CHA transport, air freight, and sea-air freight services.
• Facilitate vendor code creation, onboarding, and ongoing coordination with service providers.
• Prepare and process exception and approval requests with internal stakeholders for necessary approvals.
• Oversee drafting, review, and finalization of contracts with stakeholders to ensure compliance.
• Maintain trackers for imports, RFQ, rate contracts, vendors and MIS for timely reporting.

Manage end-to-end import procurement and logistics operations, including requirement planning, vendor onboarding, rate contract management, contract administration, approval coordination, and MIS reporting to ensure efficient and compliant import activities.

Job Description

The Import & EXIM Executive, designated as an Officer within the Logistics Cell, is responsible for managing comprehensive import procurement and logistics operations. This role requires meticulous planning and execution of import activities to ensure compliance and efficiency. The executive will oversee vendor onboarding, rate contract management, and contract administration. They will coordinate approval processes and maintain detailed MIS reporting. The role demands a strategic approach to supply chain management, ensuring seamless operations across multiple locations. The executive will also be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders, ensuring that all import activities align with organizational goals. A keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Responsibility

• Support the annual import requirement planning and consolidation across various plants and locations ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
• Coordinate the establishment and management of annual and monthly rate contracts for Custom House Agents CHA transport air freight and seaair freight services
• Facilitate the creation of vendor codes oversee the onboarding process and manage ongoing coordination with service providers to ensure seamless operations
• Prepare and process exception and approval requests ensuring timely coordination and communication with internal stakeholders for necessary approvals
• Oversee the drafting internal review and finalization of contracts working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational standards
• Maintain comprehensive trackers for imports Requests for Quotation RFQ rate contracts vendors and Management Information Systems MIS ensuring accurate and timely reporting
