Job summary

Ion Exchange is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls professional in Navi Mumbai to read tender requirements, attend kickoff meetings and prepare C&I documents aligned with project schedules.

The role includes supporting P&ID from C&I perspective, preparing instrument schedules, datasheets, JB specifications, PLC IO lists, control philosophy and FAT testing, with coordination across disciplines and with 3D vendors for E&I modelling.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand tender requirements
• Attend kickoff meetings with client
• Prepare C&I document list and plan activities aligned with project schedule
• Support process team in P&ID preparation from C&I perspective
• Prepare instrument schedules, instrument datasheets, cable schedules and datasheets
• Prepare JB schedule and specifications
• Understand instrument hookup drawings and cable tray drawings
• Conduct basic engineering for PLC IO lists, drawings and PLC datasheets
• Write control philosophy and build logic diagrams
• Coordinate with other disciplines for interface clearance
• Participate in FAT testing of PLCs
• Perform technical evaluation of C&I buyouts and prepare bid sheets
• Support site team for erection, pre-commissioning and commissioning of instruments and PLC-based auto plant
• Coordinate with 3D vendors for modelling of E&I activities
• Provide BOQ for various projects during tendering stage

Job description

Instrumentation and Controls.

• 1. To Read and understand the tender requirements.

• 8. To do Basic engineering for PLC, like IO list preparation, configuration
• drawings and datasheet for PLC.
• 9. Writing Control Philosophy and building logic diagrams.
• 10. To interact with other disciplines for clearance of interface documents.
• 11. To participate in Inspection of PLC ( FAT test )
• 12. To do Technical Evaluation of C&I bought outs and prepare technical bid
• sheets for purchase.
• 13. Supporting site team for Erection, Pre Commissioning and
• Commissioning of Instruments and PLC based Auto plant.
• 14. To provide Input and co-ordinate with 3D vendors for modelling of E&I
• activities.
