Job summary

Aarti Industries in Vadodara is seeking an Instrumentation Engineering Officer with 8-10 years of experience in instrumentation design, DCS/ESD systems, and process control. You will review instrument lists, data sheets, I/O listings, and field instrumentation selection, while supporting layout/P&ID and HAZOP processes to ensure compliance with IS/IEC codes.

BE/B.Tech in Instrumentation and Control is required.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Instrumentation and Control is required.
• 8–10 years of experience in instrumentation and control.
• Exposure to designing of 500+ instruments and 1500+ I/Os in DCS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/review instrument specification sheets, I/O lists, data sheets, and instrument indices.
• Review instrumentation sizing calculations and prepare TSS/IDS with consultants.
• Support process/tech teams for layout/P&ID, HAZOP, and engineering packages.
• Evaluate vendors, prepare RFQs, and manage FAT/SAT for control systems and critical instruments.
• Prepare data sheets, BOMs, cables, hook-ups, and schedules in SAP environment.

Job Title: Instrumentation Engineering Officer

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Experience basic or Feed engineeringTimely delivery of engineering design with respect to cost,Quality and time matrix.
• Preparation/review of instrumention engineering deliverables like - instrument list ,instrument index,I/O listing,data sheets, TBA and Inquiry.
• Review of instrumentation sizing calculations.
• Support to process/technology team for preparation of layout/P&ID and HAZOP etc.
• Review of basic engineering package with respect to AIL design codes and IS/IEC codes.
• Review and validation of detail cost estimation done by estimation team and exposure of proposal engineering.
• Preparation /Review of technical specification sheet(TSS)/IDS received from consultant.
• Evaluation and selection of vendor and preparation of vendor list.
• Floating of RFQ to approved vendors and Preparation of TBA Erection and Commissioning of field instrumentation Erection and Commissioning of DCS/ESDSelection of field instruments as per application Design and selection of BPCS & ESD along with inquiry to TBA.
• Preferable for the preparation of logic diagram along with programming of DCSDesign & selection F&G , CCTV and telecom.
• Review & participate in engineering mechanical packages (Compressor , chiller and process packages )Technical qualification of received offersPreparation/Review of technical bid evaluation (TBE)Approval of ITP/QAP before release of order and Experience of FAT related to instrumentation.
• Code creation in SAP systemPR/SR creation in SAP systemReview and approval of drawing and documents received from consultant and vendorsPreparation of data sheet,Hook up,JB schedule, Cable schedule etc.
