Job summary

IKEA Gruppe is seeking a customer-focused team member to support the IKEA Food areas in Delhi. You will contribute to daily operations across Restaurant, Bistro, Kitchen, or Swedish Food Market, and ensure a welcoming, efficient environment for guests.

You will promote food safety, quality, and sustainability while acting as a brand ambassador and collaborating with colleagues to meet daily goals and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment — preferably in retail or hospitality.
• Care deeply about food safety, quality, and sustainability.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and a great team player, able to take initiative and responsibility for your own work.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the daily operations of the IKEA Food areas (Restaurant, Bistro, Kitchen, or Swedish Food Market).
• Act on customer feedback and continuously look for ways to improve the food experience.
• Ensure global and national compliance and food safety standards are implemented and maintained at all times.
• Act as a brand ambassador for IKEA and IKEA Retail Food, promoting a safe, healthy, sustainable, and joyful food experience.
• Support and apply retail foundations and sales steering tools to optimize sales and commercial results.
• Work proactively to exceed customer expectations and create a welcoming, efficient environment.
• Contribute to the unit business plan and IKEA Retail Food goals by supporting daily operations and teamwork.
• Take responsibility for your own learning and development, and contribute to building a high-performing team.
• Support IKEA’s sustainability goals by reducing waste, improving efficiency, and promoting environmentally friendly practices.
