The ICU Doctors will be responsible for managing critically ill patients, performing rapid assessments, initiating life‑saving treatments, and ensuring continuous monitoring and care. The role requires strong clinical expertise, quick decision‑making, and effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

• Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Perform rapid assessment, diagnosis, and stabilization of critical conditions.
• Monitor vital signs, organ functions, and overall patient condition continuously.
• Manage life‑support systems including ventilators, infusion pumps, and monitoring devices.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in coordination with consultants and specialists.
• Respond to medical emergencies and manage critical situations effectively.
• Perform invasive and non‑invasive procedures as required.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic reports and take appropriate clinical actions.
• Prescribe medications and adjust treatment plans based on patient response.
• Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments for optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records and ICU documentation.
• Communicate patient condition and treatment plans to families.
• Ensure adherence to ICU protocols, infection control, and safety standards.
• Participate in Code Blue and emergency response teams.
• Supervise junior doctors and support clinical decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, SOPs, and NABH guidelines.
• Participate in clinical audits, case discussions, and quality improvement programs.
• Maintain ethical medical practices and patient confidentiality.
• Stay updated with advancements in critical care medicine.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by hospital management.
