Teacher Pool is seeking a dedicated French educator to join our network of IB-aligned schools in Chennai. You will teach IB MYP French for grades 6–10, design inquiry-based units, assess using MYP criteria, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to strengthen language integration.

Ideal candidates will have strong pedagogy in language acquisition, experience with A–D assessments, and a track record of differentiation and unit design.

Formación

• IB MYP curriculum knowledge and alignment.
• French language teaching expertise.
• Language acquisition pedagogy for second language learners.
• Familiarity with IB assessment criteria A–D.
• Strong lesson planning and unit design.
• Ability to differentiate instruction in mixed-ability classes.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver engaging, student-centered French instruction aligned with IB MYP for grades 6–10.
• Design and implement thematic, inquiry-based units integrating listening, speaking, reading, and writing competencies.
• Assess student progress using IB MYP criteria (A-D) and provide constructive, timely feedback.
• Collaborate with homeroom and subject teachers to support interdisciplinary learning and language integration.
• Participate in curriculum mapping, moderation, and professional development sessions aligned to MYP updates.
• Support school-wide events, cultural exchanges, and French immersion activities to enhance language exposure.
