Broadway is seeking an HR Intern – Retail Recruitment to join the People Team in Gurgaon. You will support end-to-end recruitment for Broadway’s retail stores, including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and closures within timelines.

This fast-paced role requires proactive communication, strong follow-up, and the ability to manage multiple openings across locations. MBA in HR or related coursework preferred.

Qualifications

• MBA in HR or relevant HR course (pursuing or completed).
• Prior internship or experience in recruitment or talent acquisition is an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication, follow-up, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of LinkedIn, job portals, MS Excel and MS Word.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates for retail roles through portals, social media, networks, referrals.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial telephonic interviews.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain ATS and recruitment trackers daily.
• Ensure open positions are closed within defined TAT.
• Support walk‑in drives, job fairs, and campus hiring as needed.
• Track interview feedback, candidate status, and joining updates.

Job Overview

We are looking for a driven and proactive HR Intern – Retail Recruitment to join our People Team. You will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end recruitment process for Broadway’s retail stores, including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and closing positions within defined timelines.

This is a fast‑paced, high‑volume hiring role that requires strong execution, quick follow‑ups, and the ability to manage multiple open positions across different locations and categories.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Recruitment

• Source candidates for retail roles through job portals, social media, professional networks, employee referrals, and other relevant channels.
• Understand retail job requirements and identify suitable profiles for roles such as Business Crew, Team Lead, Department Manager, Beauty Advisor, and other store positions.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial telephonic interviews to assess candidate suitability, communication skills, experience, and availability.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and the recruitment team/hiring managers.
• Follow up with candidates regularly to ensure a smooth recruitment process and timely closures.
• Maintain and update the applicant tracking system and recruitment trackers on a daily basis.
• Ensure that open positions are managed and closed within the defined TAT.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for current and upcoming store requirements.
• Support walk‑in drives, job fairs, campus hiring, and other recruitment activities, whenever required.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to track interview feedback, candidate status, and joining updates.

Requirements

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed an MBA in HR or a relevant HR‑related course.
• Experience: Prior internship or experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, retail, or customer‑facing roles will be an advantage.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, good follow‑up skills, and attention to detail.
• Tools: Basic knowledge of LinkedIn, job portals, MS Excel, and MS Word.
• Traits: Proactive, energetic, organised, and comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Work Style: Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with strict timelines and high‑volume hiring requirements.
• Availability: Ability to quickly respond to hiring requirements and coordinate with candidates and internal stakeholders.
