Job summary

Broadway is seeking a Retail HRBP to manage the people function for our Hyderabad store. You will work with the Store Manager and central HR to ensure a strong employee experience and smooth HR operations.

The role emphasizes end-to-end recruitment, employee engagement, attendance management and HR documentation to support a fast-paced, customer-first retail environment in Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in retail/FMCG/hospitality.
• Strong communication and people-management skills.
• Hands-on experience in recruitment and employee relations.
• High ownership, proactive approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• People-first, business-oriented and culture-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end hiring for the store.
• Manage interviews, offers, joining and onboarding.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and connect employees.
• Build a positive Broadway culture and improve team experience.
• Monitor attendance, late coming, absenteeism and payroll inputs.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Handle employee grievances and resolve within timelines.
• Manage onboarding, probation, transfers, promotions and exits.
• Exit discussions and attrition trend analysis.

Role

We are looking for a Retail HRBP to manage the people function for our Hyderabad store. The role will work closely with the Store Manager and central HR team to ensure a strong employee experience and smooth HR operations.

Key Responsibilities / KRAs

• Recruitment
• Own end-to-end hiring for the store.
• Maintain candidate pipelines and close positions within TAT.
• Manage interviews, offers, joining and onboarding.
• Employee Engagement
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and employee connects.
• Build a positive, inclusive and high-energy Broadway culture.
• Understand employee sentiment and improve team experience.
• Attendance & HR Operations
• Monitor attendance, late coming and absenteeism.
• Ensure adherence to HR policies and timely payroll inputs.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Employee Grievances
• Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns.
• Resolve grievances fairly and within timelines.
• Partner with Store Managers and central HR on sensitive matters.
• Employee Lifecycle
• Manage the employee journey from joining to exit.
• Handle onboarding, probation, confirmation, transfers, promotions and exits.
• Conduct exit discussions and identify attrition trends.
