Job summary

Broadway is opening a Hyderabad store and seeks a Retail HRBP to manage people functions, partnering with the Store Manager and central HR to deliver a superior employee experience and smooth HR operations.

You will own end-to-end HR activities from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, attendance, payroll inputs and lifecycle events, while fostering a positive, inclusive and fast-paced culture.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in retail/FMCG/hospitality.
• Strong communication and people-management skills.
• Hands-on experience in recruitment and employee relations.
• High ownership, proactive approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• People-first, business-oriented and culture-driven.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end hiring for the store and manage offers, joining and onboarding.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and build Broadway culture.
• Monitor attendance, late coming and absenteeism and ensure payroll inputs.
• Act as first point of contact for employee concerns and resolve grievances.
• Manage onboarding through exits, including transfers, promotions and exits.

Role

We are looking for a Retail HRBP to manage the people function for our Hyderabad store. The role will work closely with the Store Manager and central HR team to ensure a strong employee experience and smooth HR operations.

Key Responsibilities / KRAs

Recruitment

• Own end-to-end hiring for the store.
• Maintain candidate pipelines and close positions within TAT.
• Manage interviews, offers, joining and onboarding.

Employee Engagement

• Drive employee engagement initiatives and employee connects.
• Build a positive, inclusive and high-energy Broadway culture.
• Understand employee sentiment and improve team experience.

Attendance & HR Operations

• Monitor attendance, late coming and absenteeism.
• Ensure adherence to HR policies and timely payroll inputs.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

Employee Grievances

• Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns.
• Resolve grievances fairly and within timelines.
• Partner with Store Managers and central HR on sensitive matters.

Employee Lifecycle

• Manage the employee journey from joining to exit.
• Handle onboarding, probation, confirmation, transfers, promotions and exits.
• Conduct exit discussions and identify attrition trends.
