Job summary

Emerge Engineering Llp in Chennai is seeking an HR professional to manage recruitment, onboarding, and core HR operations. You will oversee sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth candidate experience.

The role also covers joining formalities, inductions, engagement initiatives, health insurance administration, policy implementation, and ongoing HR support across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, selection, offers and onboarding.
• Coordinate joining formalities and inductions, including documentation, background verification, and schedules.
• Handle HR generalist activities: employee engagement, performance management, grievances, and HR policy execution.
• Manage health insurance: policy administration, enrolment, renewals, claims, and employee queries.
• Develop talent acquisition strategies using portals, social media, referrals, campus hiring and other channels.
• Ensure compliance with policies, processes, and statutory requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate employee records, recruitment trackers, insurance records and HR documentation.
• Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower needs and close vacancies on time.
• Support employees on HR queries, benefits, leave, insurance and welfare matters.

• Handle HR generalist activities, including employee engagement, performance management, grievance handling, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Manage employee medical/health insurance, including policy administration, employee enrolment and additions/deletions, renewals, claim coordination, and addressing employee queries related to insurance benefits.
• Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract suitable candidates through job portals, social media, employee referrals, campus hiring, and other recruitment channels.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, HR processes, and applicable statutory requirements throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, recruitment trackers, insurance records, and HR documentation.
• Coordinate with department heads and hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and ensure timely closure of vacancies.
• Support employees on HR-related queries, company policies, benefits, leave, insurance, and other employee welfare matters.
