Job summary

DMart in India is seeking an HR Generalist for its Factory/Distribution Centre. You will handle end-to-end HR activities including hiring, onboarding, payroll, transfers and promotions, while ensuring statutory compliance.

You will drive employee engagement, training programs and manage grievances, serving as the single point of contact for the DC/Factory team of roughly 50 staff.

Qualifications

• MBA HR or equivalent HR degree.
• Experience in recruitment, onboarding, payroll and statutory compliance.
• Experience managing around 50 employees in a DC/factory setting.

Responsibilities

• HR Generalist activities for the Factory/Distribution Centre.
• Manage hiring, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and payroll administration.
• Handle third-party onboarding and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, CLRA).
• Drive employee engagement, training and development programs and resolve grievances.
• Act as single point of contact for DC/Factory operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1- HR Generalist Activities for the Factory/Distribution Centre.
• 2- Responsible for the execution of all aspects of human resource functions like hiring, confirmation, transfer & promotion and payroll administration, 3rd Party employee onboarding, Statutory compliance i.e. PF, ESIC, Contract labor law, CLRA.
• 3- Retain employees through effective employee engagement, training & development programs and Handling Employee Grievances.
• 4- Single POC for the entire DC/Factory operations Team, Handling approximately 50 employees.
• 5- Business HR Partnering, Time Office, Driving HR development and Engagement Activities.
