Job summary

UNO MINDA is seeking an experienced EHS professional to oversee Safety, Environmental, and Health Management programs. The role focuses on ensuring statutory compliance, conducting inspections, and implementing risk controls across the site in Gurugram, India.

The candidate will coordinate occupational health programs, drive training initiatives, manage emergency readiness, and maintain regulatory documentation while supporting ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements and company EHS standards.
• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and audits.
• Identify hazards and implement risk assessment and risk control measures.
• Monitor compliance with PPE usage and safety procedures.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and prepare corrective action reports.
• Monitor environmental compliance related to air emissions, wastewater, hazardous waste, and resource consumption.
• Ensure proper waste segregation, storage, and disposal practices.
• Maintain records related to environmental permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements.
• Support sustainability and environmental improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate occupational health programs and medical examinations.
• Monitor workplace hygiene and employee wellness initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health regulations.
• Conduct EHS induction and refresher training programs.
• Organize safety campaigns, toolbox talks, mock drills, and awareness activities.
• Promote employee participation in safety initiatives.
• Coordinate emergency response activities and mock drills.
• Maintain emergency equipment readiness.
• Support development and review of emergency response plans.
• Maintain EHS records, reports, permits, and statutory documentation.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities during inspections.
• Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management system implementation and audits.
