Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years in safety & hazard management.
• Qualification: M.E./M.Tech in Industrial Safety & Hazard Management.
• Location: Mysore (Hootagalli Industrial Area).

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and company policies.
• Implement safety standards.
• Maintain safety documentation, permits & records.
• Conduct HIRA for all processes & activities.
• Perform JSA and identify hazards.
• Recommend and implement control measures to mitigate risks.
• Review and update HIRA after process changes.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and audits.
• Aim for zero man-days lost due to incidents.
• Ensure proper PPE usage by employees & contractors.
• Monitor high-risk areas & ETP/STP performance.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain incident reports and track closure.
• Ensure a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Safety Compliance & Implementation

• Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and company policies.
• Implement safety standards.
• Maintain safety documentation, permits, and records.

2. Risk Assessment & Hazard Control

• Conduct HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment) for all processes and activities.
• Perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and identify potential hazards.
• Recommend and implement control measures to mitigate risks.
• Review and update HIRA periodically or after any process change.

3. Shop Floor Monitoring

• Conduct daily safety inspections and audits.
• Achieving zero man days loss due to incidents
• Ensure proper usage of PPE by employees and contractors.
• Monitor high-risk areas.
• Ensuring optimum working of ETP & STP

4. Incident Management

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain incident reports and track closure.
• Ensure safe working environment.
