Job summary

Rane (Madras) Limited - SLD in Mysuru seeks an experienced maintenance leader (18–22 years) to oversee plant maintenance, ensure maximum equipment availability, reliability and safe operation, and drive energy efficiency projects in a busy manufacturing setting.

The role includes planning and executing preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance, analyzing failures with RCA/MTBF/MTTR, coordinating with OEMs and contractors for upgrades, driving TPM and 5S, and preparing annual maintenance

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience in plant maintenance ensuring equipment availability and safe operation.
• Strong problem solving abilities with a track record of swift issue resolution in a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with cross-functional collaboration experience.

Responsibilities

• Plant maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment availability, reliability, and safe operation.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance; analyze failures using RCA, MTBF, and MTTR.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply, energy efficiency, fuel control, power factor improvement, and utility cost optimization.
• Coordinate with OEMs, AMC vendors, and contractors for maintenance and machine upgrades.
• Drive TPM, 5S, OEE improvement, safety, and energy audits.
• Prepare annual maintenance plans, budgets, spares planning, and cost control.
• Ensure new machine installation, commissioning, expansions, modernization, and energy-saving projects.
• Ensure statutory, calibration, maintenance records, and documentation for audits and management review.
