HRIS Analyst - HR Systems & Reporting

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical HRIS Analyst with strong knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), HR processes, employee data management, and reporting.

Ideal Candidate Profile will combine strong HR systems knowledge with excellent data management and analytical capabilities. Candidates who have independently managed HRIS data, handled large employee databases, prepared headcount reports, and streamlined HR reporting processes will be preferred.

1. HRIS & System Management

• Manage and maintain employee data within HRIS/HRMS platforms, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and data integrity.
• Work with HR systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, HR1, Darwinbox, Oracle HCM, or similar platforms.
• Support system updates, employee data changes, organizational structure updates, and HR workflow management.
• Identify system-related issues and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for resolution.
• Support HRIS enhancements, process standardization, and automation initiatives.

2. HR Data Management & Reporting

• Manage, consolidate, validate, and analyze large volumes of employee data.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc HR MIS reports covering employee headcount, joiners, exits, transfers, and other workforce metrics.
• Perform headcount reconciliation and ensure consistency across HRIS, employee records, and reporting databases.
• Maintain employee master data and conduct periodic data quality checks and audits.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of HR reports to internal stakeholders.

3. Advanced Excel & Analytics

• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Advanced Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, conditional formulas, data validation, and data consolidation.
• Use Excel to analyze large datasets, identify discrepancies, and generate actionable insights.
• Automate repetitive reporting tasks and improve reporting efficiency.
• Support dashboard creation and HR analytics using tools such as Power BI, where applicable.

4. HR Process & Stakeholder Management

• Understand key HR processes, including employee onboarding, employee movements, exits, organizational changes, and employee lifecycle management.
• Work closely with HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and process alignment.
• Support internal audits, data validation exercises, and compliance-related reporting.
• Document HR processes, reporting methodologies, and system-related procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in HRIS, HRMS, HR Systems, HR Operations Analytics, or HR Reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one HRIS platform such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, HR1, Darwinbox, Oracle HCM or similar systems.
• Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel and the ability to work with large employee datasets.
• Experience in headcount reporting, HR MIS, employee master data management, and data reconciliation.
• Good understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data validation skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple reporting requirements and deadlines.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
