Zepto is hiring an HR Manager for the Motherhub in Chennai to lead recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training and compliance across the facility.

You will collaborate with department managers, implement HR programs, manage safety, benefits, and performance reviews, and help build a positive, compliant workplace.

Qualifications

Your Role: HR Manager Mother hub

Job Summary: The HR Manager for the Motherhub is responsible for overseeing all human resources functions within the mother hub facility. This role includes managing recruitment, employee relations, training and development, compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The HR Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that the Motherhub operates efficiently and that employees are engaged, motivated, and adhere to company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruitment and Staffing:
• Managetherecruitment and onboarding process for Motherhub staff, including posting job openings, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
• Collaborate with department managers to forecast staffing needs and plan for seasonal or peak periods.
• Employee Relations:
• Addressemployeeconcerns and grievances, and work to resolve disputes in a fair and equitable manner.
• Promotepositive employee relations, open communication, and a healthy work environment.
• Monitoremployeeperformance and conduct performance reviews.
• Training and Development:
• Developandimplementtraining programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of Motherhub employees.
• Identify opportunities for professional growth and career development.
• Compliance and Policies:
• Ensurecompliance with all labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintainaccurate and up-to-date employee records, including attendance, timekeeping, and HR-related documentation.
• Benefits and Compensation:
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits as needed.
• Managecompensationstructures and annual salary reviews.
• Health and Safety:
• Collaborate with safety officers to ensure a safe working environment and promote a culture of safety.
• Investigate and report workplace accidents or incidents as needed.
• Employee Engagement and Culture:
• Fosterpositive and inclusive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives and events.
• Encourageteamworkandcamaraderie among Motherhub staff.
• Reporting and Analytics:
• Prepareandpresent HR-related reports and data to senior management as needed.
• AnalyzeHRmetrics and key performance indicators to make data-driven decisions.

Preferred Skills

• HRcertification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
• Experience with HR software and systems, including HRIS.
• Familiarity with Motherhub management and logistics software.
