Job summary

DigiRecruitx is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the HR function for a manufacturing unit in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. The role covers plant HR operations, statutory compliance, recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, and administration.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in HR within manufacturing, strong knowledge of labor laws and industrial relations, and experience with both blue- and white-collar workforce. Location is Baddi; CTC is based on experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of plant HR operations, labor laws, compliance, and industrial relations.
• Experience handling blue-collar and white-collar workforce.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end HR operations for the plant/manufacturing unit.
• Handle recruitment, onboarding, manpower planning, and lifecycle management.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, Factory Act, and other statutory requirements.
• Manage attendance, leave records, payroll inputs, and HR documentation.
• Drive employee engagement, grievance handling, disciplinary processes, and industrial relations.
• Coordinate training, performance management, and development initiatives.
• Prepare HR MIS, reports, and support audits/compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end HR operations for the plant / manufacturing unit
• Handle recruitment, onboarding, manpower planning, and employee lifecycle management
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, Factory Act, and other statutory requirements
• Manage attendance, leave records, payroll inputs, and HR documentation

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of HR experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of plant HR operations, labor laws, statutory compliance, and industrial relations
• Experience in handling both blue-collar and white-collar workforce
• Good communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in HRMS, attendance systems, payroll coordination, and MS Excel

Preferred Candidate

• Hands-on HR professional with experience in a factory / plant setup
• Ability to work closely with plant leadership and manage day-to-day HR operations independently
