Job summary

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manufacturing or FMCG industries, with expertise in labour law compliance and contract labour management. The role requires 7-10 years of relevant experience in Plant HR and Industrial Relations, strong knowledge of labour laws, and proficiency in HRIS and payroll

Qualifications

• MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or a relevant qualification.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in Plant HR and Industrial Relations.
• Strong experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food processing, or a similar industrial environment.
• Thorough knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance, PF, ESIC, CLRA, and factory-related regulations.
• Proven ability to manage contract labour, employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and workforce administration.
• Good communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, HR MIS, and HR/payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end plant HR operations including manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, attendance, and lifecycle management.
• Handle industrial relations, employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Manage contract labour, contractor coordination, workforce deployment, and manpower records.
• Ensure statutory compliance related to PF, ESIC, CLRA, factory regulations, and labour laws.
• Coordinate payroll inputs, leave management, shift administration, and employee documentation.
• Develop and implement plant HR policies, procedures, and engagement initiatives.
• Maintain HR MIS, manpower reports, compliance records, and audit documentation.
• Liaise with government authorities, labour inspectors, contractors, and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate employee welfare, training, safety awareness, and performance management.
• Work closely with plant leadership to address workforce issues and support operations.
