LunarEdge IT Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced, highly knowledgeable, and result-oriented HR Manager to lead and strengthen our end-to-end Human Resources function.
The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of HR operations, payroll management, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR policies, labour laws, statutory compliance, and HRMS/HRIS systems.
We are looking for a professional who can independently manage the complete HR lifecycle, work closely with senior management, take ownership of HR processes, and contribute strategically to building a high-performance and employee-focused organization.
The candidate should be a mature HR professional with excellent decision-making, communication, problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills, along with a strong understanding of Indian HR practices and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Manage the complete end-to-end recruitment process, including manpower planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, salary negotiation, offer management, and onboarding.
- Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline for technical and non-technical positions.
- Work closely with department heads and management to understand hiring requirements and ensure timely closures.
- Manage recruitment consultants, job portals, employee referrals, and other hiring channels.
- Develop effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality talent.
- Strengthen employer branding through professional networking platforms, recruitment campaigns, events, and employee referral initiatives.
- Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and offer-to-joining ratio.
2. HR Operations & Administration
- Independently manage day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files.
- Manage joining formalities, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, increments, and exits.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of HRMS/HRIS and employee databases.
- Manage attendance, leave, working hours, employee movements, and HR-related documentation.
- Establish and improve HR processes, SOPs, checklists, and internal controls.
3. Payroll Management
- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing with high accuracy and confidentiality.
- Validate attendance, leaves, LOP, overtime, new joiners, exits, incentives, variable pay, reimbursements, salary revisions, and other payroll inputs.
- Maintain payroll masters, CTC structures, salary records, and employee compensation data.
- Coordinate with Finance for payroll reconciliation and timely salary disbursement.
- Manage Full & Final Settlement for exiting employees.
- Handle employee payroll queries and resolve salary-related discrepancies.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll reports, MIS, and management dashboards.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of salary and employee information.
4. Statutory Compliance & Labour Laws
- Ensure compliance with applicable Indian labour laws and statutory regulations.
- Manage and coordinate compliance related to PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, TDS, Gratuity, Bonus, Shops & Establishments Act, POSH, and other applicable requirements.
- Coordinate statutory challans, returns, records, and documentation within prescribed timelines.
- Stay updated with changes in labour laws, statutory requirements, and HR regulations.
- Ensure proper maintenance of compliance records and support internal/external audits.
- Identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions to management.
5. Performance Management & Employee Development
- Design and implement KRA/KPI-based performance management systems.
- Coordinate goal setting, performance reviews, appraisals, promotions, and salary revision processes.
- Work with managers to improve employee performance and accountability.
- Identify skill gaps and coordinate training and development programs.
- Support competency mapping, career development, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
- Promote a culture of continuous feedback, learning, and professional growth.
6. HR Policies, SOPs & Process Improvement
- Draft, review, update, and implement HR policies, SOPs, employee handbooks, and internal guidelines.
- Ensure policies are communicated effectively and consistently across the organization.
- Identify gaps in existing HR processes and implement improvements.
- Standardize HR workflows to improve efficiency, transparency, and employee experience.
- Ensure HR practices remain aligned with business objectives and legal requirements.
7. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Build strong professional relationships with employees and management.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, conflicts, and workplace concerns professionally and confidentially.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employee-related matters.
- Conduct employee engagement initiatives and activities.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze employee feedback.
- Identify key reasons for attrition and recommend effective retention strategies.
- Promote a positive, respectful, collaborative, and high-performance workplace culture.
8. Workforce Planning & HR Business Partnering
- Partner with senior management and department heads on manpower planning, organizational structure, resource allocation, and workforce strategy.
- Provide HR insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics including headcount, attrition, absenteeism, recruitment status, employee cost, and workforce trends.
- Support organizational growth, restructuring, change management, and business expansion initiatives.
- Develop HR strategies aligned with the company's short-term and long-term business objectives.
9. HRMS/HRIS & HR Analytics
- Ensure effective utilization and continuous improvement of HRMS/HRIS systems.
- Maintain accurate and updated employee information in HR systems.
- Generate HR reports and management dashboards.
- Use HR data and analytics to identify trends and support informed decision-making.
- Look for opportunities to automate and streamline repetitive HR processes.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an IT, technology, or fast-growing organization.
- Strong practical knowledge of Indian labour laws, statutory compliance, payroll, HR operations, and employee relations.
- Hands-on experience managing HR independently across multiple HR functions.
- Experience with HRMS/HRIS implementation and administration.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance.
- Good understanding of HR analytics, MIS, and workforce reporting.
