Deepak Chem Tech Ltd is seeking a Lead- HR Transformation to build and scale the HR technology ecosystem across the organization. You will drive digital transformation, system integration, and data-led decision-making to create a unified, future-ready HR tech landscape.

This role bridges HR, IT, Finance, and business units to translate tech investments into measurable outcomes. You will own HRMS/LMS/CLMS/Payroll systems, manage governance, and lead adoption of AI-driven tools while ensuring data

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in engineering/technology/CS or equivalent.
  • MBA/PGDM in HR or Systems preferred.
  • Certifications in HRMS or analytics are an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive a 35-year HR Technology roadmap aligned with business growth and digital priorities.
  • Own end-to-end lifecycle of HR applications (HRMS, LMS, CLMS, Payroll, DMS) ensuring stability and security.
  • Identify automation opportunities across recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and separations.
  • Lead digitization initiatives to reduce manual work and increase efficiency.
  • Drive AI-led interventions (chatbots, analytics, decision support).
  • Ensure seamless integration between HR systems and ERP/Finance/Project systems.
  • Establish governance, SOPs, audits, and data governance across HR systems.
  • Oversee vendor selection, negotiations, contracts, SLAs, and performance.
  • Manage end-to-end HR technology projects including upgrades and migrations.

Position Overview

To build, stabilize, and continuously enhance the HR Technology ecosystem across the organization by driving digital transformation, system integration, and data-led decision-making. The role is accountable for creating a unified, scalable, and future-ready HR tech landscape that supports workforce lifecycle management, improves employee experience, strengthens governance, and enables leadership insights. It will act as the bridge between HR, IT, Finance, and Business, ensuring that technology investments translate into measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
1. HR Technology Strategy & Roadmap
  • Define and drive a 35-year HR Technology roadmap aligned with business growth, workforce scale, and digital priorities
  • Establish a unified HR systems architecture integrating HRMS, LMS, CLMS, Payroll, ERP, and other platforms
  • Evaluate emerging technologies including AI, agentic workflows, automation tools, and analytics platforms
2. Application Ownership & Governance
  • Own end-to-end lifecycle of HR applications: HRMS, LMS, CLMS, Payroll, DMS, and analytics tools
  • Ensure system stability, uptime, data integrity, and security compliance
  • Define governance frameworks, SOPs, and audit mechanisms across HR systems
3. Digital Transformation & Automation
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities across HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and separation
  • Lead digitization initiatives to eliminate manual dependencies and improve process efficiency
  • Drive adoption of AI-led interventions including chatbots, predictive analytics, and decision support tools
4. Integration & Architecture
  • Ensure seamless integration between HR systems and enterprise platforms like ERP, Finance, and Project systems
  • Work closely with IT architecture teams on APIs, middleware, and data flow frameworks
  • Build a single source of truth for HR data
5. Vendor & Partner Management
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard HR technology partners and platforms
  • Lead commercial negotiations, contract structuring, and SLA definition
  • Manage vendor performance and ensure delivery against agreed KPIs
6. Project Management & Implementation
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of HR technology projects including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments
  • Establish structured project governance, timelines, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication
  • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, cost, and timelines
7. Data, Analytics & MIS
  • Develop HR analytics capability including dashboards, predictive insights, and leadership MIS
  • Enable data-driven decision-making for workforce planning, attrition, productivity, and cost optimization
  • Standardize reporting frameworks across entities
8. Adoption & Change Management
  • Drive user adoption through structured change management, training, and communication
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to embed digital ways of working
  • Monitor utilization and continuously improve user experience
9. In-house Development & Innovation
  • Build capability for internal development of HR tools and workflows where required
  • Encourage experimentation and pilots for new technologies
  • Work with cross-functional teams to co-create solutions

Education Qualification
  • Bachelors degree in engineering / technology / computer science or equivalent
  • MBA / PGDM (HR or Systems) preferred
  • Certifications in HRMS platforms, or Analytics will be an advantage
Experience
  • 07 - 10 years of experience with at least 5 years in HR Technology, HRMS implementation, or enterprise applications
  • Experience in large manufacturing, engineering, or multi-entity organizations preferred
  • Proven track record in implementing and managing HR tech platforms at scale
  • Exposure to digital transformation, automation, and analytics initiatives
  • Strong experience in vendor management and commercial negotiations
Technical Competencies/Skills
  • Strong understanding of HRMS platforms (e.g., Darwinbox, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM)
  • Knowledge of LMS, CLMS, Payroll systems, and Document Management Systems
  • Expertise in system integration (APIs, middleware, ERP integration)
  • Experience in data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel)
  • Understanding of AI/ML applications in HR and workflow automation tools
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and enterprise architecture frameworks
