Job summary

GeminiSoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd in Bangalore is seeking an HR Generalist to own day-to-day HR operations, onboarding, policy management, payroll coordination and employee relations.

You will ensure compliance with Indian labour laws and contribute to a positive workplace culture. The role requires 2+ years in HR or People-Ops within startups or services firms and a hands-on approach to policies, governance, and employee experience.

Qualifications

Working knowledge of Indian labour law (PF, ESI, POSH, Gratuity).
Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal credibility across levels.

Responsibilities

Run end-to-end onboarding for new hires — paperwork, equipment, first-week plan.
Own HR policy, employee handbook, and grievance redressal.
Coordinate monthly payroll inputs with Finance.
Manage statutory compliance — PF, ESI, Gratuity, Shops & Establishments.
Run employee engagement initiatives and pulse surveys.

What we need from you

2+ years HR or People-Ops experience in a startup or services firm

Strong interpersonal skills — credibility across all levels
Detail-oriented: nothing slips through the cracks

Nice to have

POSH IC certification or training
Experience with HRIS platforms (Keka, Zoho People, GreytHR)
Bilingual (English + Kannada / Hindi)
Prior experience in employee L&D or culture-building
