Job summary

Smart Work Consultants is seeking an energetic HR Executive to support day-to-day HR operations in a manufacturing environment. The role encompasses recruitment, employee relations, attendance, payroll coordination, and factory HR activities.

You will manage manpower planning, onboarding, and coordination with production heads to ensure workforce requirements are met while maintaining PF/ESI and Labour Law compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment and manpower management for manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of attendance, shifts, leave, overtime and payroll inputs.
• Understanding of PF, ESI, Labour Laws and statutory compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day HR operations at the manufacturing unit.
• Manage recruitment, screening, interviews and onboarding.
• Handle manpower planning for production departments.
• Monitor attendance, shifts, leave, overtime and payroll inputs.
• Maintain employee records, HR documentation and personnel files.
• Handle grievances and disciplinary matters, and support employee engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Production and Department Heads for manpower requirements.
• Assist in implementing HR policies, SOPs and company procedures.
• Support PF, ESI, Labour Law and statutory compliance activities.
• Coordinate factory inspections, audits and statutory documentation.
• Prepare HR MIS reports, attendance reports and manpower reports.
• Support training, induction and employee development programmes.
• Monitor employee discipline and workplace safety practices.

We are looking for an energetic and responsible HR Executive to support day-to-day HR operations in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have experience in recruitment, employee relations, attendance, payroll coordination, statutory compliance and factory HR activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day HR operations at the manufacturing unit.
  
• Manage recruitment, screening, interviews and employee onboarding.
  
• Handle manpower planning and workforce requirements for production departments.
  
• Monitor attendance, shifts, leave, overtime and payroll inputs.
  
• Maintain employee records, HR documentation and personnel files.
  
• Handle employee queries, grievances and disciplinary matters.
  
• Support employee engagement, welfare and retention initiatives.
  
• Coordinate with Production and Department Heads for manpower requirements.
  
• Assist in implementing HR policies, SOPs and company procedures.
  
• Support PF, ESI, Labour Law and statutory compliance activities.
  
• Coordinate factory inspections, audits and statutory documentation.
  
• Prepare HR MIS reports, attendance reports and manpower reports.
  
• Support training, induction and employee development programmes.
  
• Monitor employee discipline, safety awareness and workplace practices.
  

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Manufacturing / Factory HR Operations.
  
• Experience in recruitment and manpower management.
  
• Knowledge of attendance, shift and payroll processes.
  
• Understanding of PF, ESI, Labour Laws and statutory compliance.
  
• Strong employee relations and grievance-handling skills.
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, HRMS and HR MIS.
  
• Ability to handle both blue-collar and staff-level employees.
  
• Strong follow-up and documentation skills.
