Job summary

EazyIoT in Mumbai, Maharashtra, is seeking a result-oriented HR Generalist to lead end-to-end HR and compliance operations for our manufacturing unit, with some IT hiring support for the corporate office.

You will own recruitment for manufacturing, manage onboarding, payroll-related compliance, attendance records, performance cycles, policies, and vendor liaison, while collaborating with hiring managers to understand role requirements.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing HR practices and labour law compliance.
• Experience with PF, ESIC, overtime and statutory salary deductions.
• Experience hiring for IT roles is a plus.
• Good communication skills, written and verbal, and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment for the manufacturing unit, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and closing positions.
• Manage joining and onboarding processes for manufacturing staff.
• Coordinate with payroll/finance on PF, ESIC contributions and OT calculations.
• Ensure statutory labour law compliance for the manufacturing unit.
• Track attendance, leaves and shift records for manufacturing staff.
• Handle contract/manpower documentation and background checks.
• Support IT recruitment for corporate office as needed.
• Coordinate performance appraisals, feedback and training initiatives.

Job description

We are looking for a result-oriented, passionate and like-minded HR Generalist to join us in our exciting journey. This role is primarily focused on end-to-end HR and compliance operations for our manufacturing unit with a smaller share of time supporting IT hiring for the corporate office.

• Own end-to-end recruitment for the manufacturing unit sourcing, screening, interviewing and closing positions.
• Manage the complete joining and onboarding process for manufacturing staff.
• Maintain strong working knowledge of PF, ESIC, overtime (OT) computation and other statutory salary-linked deductions.
• Coordinate with payroll/finance on PF and ESIC contributions, OT calculations.
• Ensure statutory and labour law compliance for the manufacturing unit.
• Track attendance, leave and shift records for manufacturing staff and workers.
• Handle contract/manpower documentation, verification and compliance.
• Manage employee grievances, disciplinary matters and exit formalities.
• Liaise with statutory consultants, labour compliance vendors and government offices.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and internal communication.
• Support recruitment for IT roles (software and hardware) at the corporate office.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements.
• Maintain and update employee records, HR databases and documentation.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, SOPs and employee handbooks.
• Coordinate performance appraisal cycles, feedback processes and training/development initiatives.
• Liaise with recruitment vendors/agencies and background verification agencies.

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Executive or similar role, with meaningful exposure to a manufacturing/factory environment.
• Strong, working knowledge of manufacturing/factory HR practices.
• Hands-on experience with labour law and statutory compliance for a manufacturing unit.
• Experience hiring for IT roles (software and hardware) is a plus.
• Good understanding of core HR processes.
• Willingness to learn new things and adapt quickly.
• Good communication skills written and verbal.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and other HR/office management tools.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage HR needs across both locations.
