Job summary

Tata Projects in Hyderabad is looking for an experienced Ethics and Compliance professional to lead site-level compliance with client requirements and statutory norms. You will implement the E&C program, coordinate audits, and ensure timely reporting to senior management.

You will train staff, monitor for red flags, engage regulators as needed, and foster a culture of ethics across all site departments to prevent risks and sustain compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years hands-on experience in managing ethics and compliance.
• Experience with statutory compliances in manufacturing or services.
• Ability to coordinate audits and regulatory reporting.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Ensuring 100% compliance with Ethics & Compliance related elements as per client requirements, contract and organizations E&C Program.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and adhering reporting protocols to ensure smooth business operations.
• Ensure statutory compliances at the site and effective implementation of Compliance tool.
• Conduct and coordinate site-based assessments and audits.
• Conduct internal assessment and analytics to identify any red flags, improvement opportunities and ensure appropriate escalations and remediations.
• Ensure compliance management framework, including governance, systems, policies, procedures and timely management reporting including monthly updates, government interaction monitoring for any red flags.
• Establish and drive a culture of compliance at the site.
• Ensure legal and statutory compliance management at the site.
• Ensuring adequate understanding and awareness across departments on the latest and upcoming regulations and processes.
• Leading active engagement and education using appropriate means e.g. trainings, discussion forums, communications, etc. with internal and external stakeholders.
• Advising senior management on legal requirements/ issues within the organization.
• Preparing and presenting clear and concise reports to the Senior Management.
• Coordinating internal compliance review, audit and monitoring activities, including periodic reviews of departments.
• Monitoring internal and external review processes and interacting with internal / external stakeholders including regulators on ethics and compliance issues, as needed.
• Ensure all ethics and compliance related requirements are achieved within agreed timelines and as per agreed milestones and KPIs.
• Support Ethics and Compliance function with other activities and site level initiatives in strengthening the culture of Ethics, including those related to trainings and communications, reviews and monitoring activities, risk management, investigations, etc.

Educational Qualification and skills

Qualification: LLB /CS/ MBA/ CA

Experience: 4-5 years hands-on experience in managing ethics and compliance, statutory compliances, preferably in a manufacturing / construction industry or as part of a service firm in managing compliance for large Indian clients.
