Job summary

Permeshwar Fashion Impex in Vapi, Gujarat, is seeking an experienced HR & Compliance professional to manage HR operations, statutory compliance, employee relations, and factory‑level HR activities at our garment manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years in HR & Compliance with strong knowledge of labour laws and factory audits; proficiency in HRMS, payroll, attendance systems, and MS Excel is preferred for a compliant and engaged workforce.

Qualifications

• Graduate in HR / Labour Laws / Business Administration or relevant field.
• 3-6 years of experience in HR & Compliance, preferably in garment manufacturing / textile / export house / factory environment.
• Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
• Experience handling factory HR and social compliance audits will be preferred.
• Good communication, coordination, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Should be comfortable working in a manufacturing/factory environment.
• Knowledge of HRMS, payroll, attendance systems, and MS Excel.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HR & Compliance professional to manage HR operations, statutory compliance, employee relations, and factory-level HR activities at our garment manufacturing facility in Vapi.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations

• Manage day-to-day HR operations at the factory.


• Handle recruitment, onboarding, joining formalities, and employee documentation.


• Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, and personnel files.


• Coordinate payroll inputs, overtime, deductions, and attendance-related matters.


• Handle employee grievances and maintain positive employee relations.


• Support performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee engagement activities.

Statutory & Labour Compliance

• Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.


• Manage PF, ESIC, PT, Bonus, Gratuity, Labour Welfare Fund, and other applicable compliances.


• Maintain statutory registers, records, notices, and required documentation.


• Coordinate statutory inspections, audits, and labour department requirements.


• Ensure compliance with applicable Factory Act and employment-related regulations.


• Monitor contractor labour compliance and documentation.

Social & Customer Compliance

• Coordinate and support social compliance audits and customer compliance requirements.


• Maintain documentation related to SA8000, BSCI, SEDEX/SMETA, WRAP or similar standards, as applicable.


• Ensure implementation of workplace policies relating to working hours, wages, health & safety, grievance handling, and employee welfare.


• Coordinate with auditors and internal stakeholders during compliance audits.


• Track audit observations, corrective actions, and closure of compliance findings.

Factory HR

• Coordinate with Production and other factory departments on manpower requirements.


• Monitor manpower planning, absenteeism, attrition, and labour productivity.


• Ensure proper implementation of company HR policies at the factory.


• Conduct employee awareness sessions and HR-related training.


• Support disciplinary and misconduct-related cases in accordance with company policy and applicable law.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate in HR / Labour Laws / Business Administration or relevant field.


• 3-6 years of experience in HR & Compliance, preferably in garment manufacturing / textile / export house / factory environment.


• Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.


• Experience handling factory HR and social compliance audits will be preferred.
