Job summary

Kheyti is seeking a strategic, hands-on HR Generalist/Assistant Manager to build and own the people function at a crucial growth stage in Hyderabad. You will collaborate with leadership to drive hiring, onboarding, engagement, and HR process improvements.

In this hands‑on role, you’ll balance daily execution with longer‑term process enhancements—owning recruitment pipelines, onboarding workflows, and HR data integrity while supporting a fast‑paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR/Business or related field.
• 1–4 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in startups or fast‑growing setups.
• Hands‑on end‑to‑end recruitment experience for junior‑to‑mid roles.
• Working knowledge of HR operations including onboarding, payroll and compliance.
• Comfort owning sub‑processes independently with light guidance.
• Organized and clear communicator across levels.

• HR Operations: Manage onboarding, HRIS data, payroll inputs, compliance.

This is a hands‑on generalist role where you'll own key pieces of the HR function end‑to‑end — from hiring to onboarding to engagement — working closely with the HR leadership team.

You’ll balance daily execution with growing ownership: driving a hiring pipeline one day, tightening an HR process or policy the next.

Must‑Haves

• Graduate/Postgraduate degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
• 1-4 years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a startup or fast‑growing setup.
• Hands‑on experience in end‑to‑end recruitment for junior‑to‑mid roles.
• Working knowledge of HR operations — onboarding, HRIS, payroll, compliance.
• Comfort owning specific HR sub‑processes independently, with light guidance.
• Organized and a clear communicator, at ease with employees across levels.

Nice‑to‑Haves

• Experience in agri‑tech, rural development, or a social enterprise.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Zoho People.
• Prior experience supporting hiring across multiple functions.
