Job summary

aydya is building the people and culture function from scratch in Bengaluru to support a growing studio. We are looking for an organized, people-first HR and Operations Specialist to run day-to-day people, culture and operations activities.

Freshers and interns are welcome. You will wear several hats across recruitment, HR operations, payroll coordination, vendor management and scalable SOP creation, while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, Business Administration or related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with HR fundamentals and payroll is preferred.
• Willingness to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding.
• Manage HR operations: attendance, leave, payroll coordination, contracts and records.
• Drive engagement and culture to maintain high performance.
• Handle studio operations: vendors, assets, supplies and inventory.
• Create SOPs, HR policies and workflows that scale.
• Work with founders on manpower planning, performance reviews and training.
• Ensure compliance with basic labour law and protect confidentiality.

You will wear several hats: hiring creatives, running onboarding, coordinating payroll and keeping studio operations smooth. You are the backbone that keeps the creative engine running. Freshers and interns are welcome.

What you will do

• Own recruitment end to end: sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding across departments.
• Manage HR operations: attendance, leave, payroll coordination, contracts and employee records.
• Drive engagement and culture, and keep the environment positive and high-performance.
• Handle studio operations: vendors, assets, supplies and inventory.
• Create SOPs, HR policies and operational workflows that scale.
• Work with the founders on manpower planning, performance reviews and training.
• Keep us compliant on basic labour law and documentation, and employee data confidential.

What you will need

• Organised and people-oriented, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with HR tools, Google Workspace, Sheets, Notion and payroll software.
• Good understanding of HR fundamentals: recruitment, onboarding, the employee lifecycle and operations.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and handle sensitive information professionally.
• A problem-solving mindset and high attention to detail.
• Preferably your own two-wheeler for occasional vendor visits, with a fuel allowance.
• A degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
