This role involves supervising housekeeping staff, conducting inspections, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance standards are maintained across all guest rooms and public areas. This role involves supervising housekeeping staff, conducting inspections, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas.
• Assign daily duties to housekeeping staff and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Train new housekeeping employees and provide ongoing guidance.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linen; place orders when necessary.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Address and resolve guest complaints or service issues promptly and professionally.
• Prepare housekeeping reports and maintain records of room status, maintenance issues, and attendance.
• Enforce safety and hygiene policies in accordance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with front office and maintenance teams for seamless operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a housekeeping supervisor or similar role.
