Job summary

Elitebutlers Hospitality Solutions is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations at our premium properties in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. You will ensure the highest cleanliness standards, guest satisfaction, and efficient team performance, reporting to the Front Office.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in 5-star hotels or luxury resorts, strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and hotel SOPs, and excellent leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Relevant experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Experience in a 5-star hotel or luxury resort preferred.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, hygiene standards and hotel SOPs.
• Proven track record supervising and managing a housekeeping team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities including Room Attendants, Public Areas, and Laundry staff.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, suites, corridors and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality.
• Ensure operations comply with hotel policies and SOPs.
• Train and guide staff on cleaning procedures, safety, hygiene, and hotel requirements.
• Prepare and manage staff rosters and ensure adequate manpower coverage.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, amenities and housekeeping materials.
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, guest satisfaction, and team efficiency.

Candidates with relevant supervisory experience in 5-star hotels or luxury resorts are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, including Room Attendants, Public Area Attendants, and Laundry personnel.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, suites, corridors, and public areas to ensure they meet the required cleanliness and quality standards.
• Ensure all housekeeping operations are carried out in accordance with hotel policies and standard operating procedures.
• Train and guide new and existing housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, hygiene standards, and hotel requirements.
• Prepare and manage staff duty rosters and ensure adequate manpower coverage for daily operations.
• Monitor the availability and proper usage of cleaning supplies, linen, guest amenities, and other housekeeping materials.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and coordinate replenishment whenever required.
• Handle guest requests and housekeeping-related complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure all housekeeping equipment is properly maintained and used safely, reporting any damage or malfunction promptly.
• Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback, coaching, and support to housekeeping staff.
• Maintain accurate records of room status, lost and found items, inventory, and departmental requirements.
• Coordinate closely with the Front Office and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth guest services and timely resolution of room-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with all health, hygiene, safety, chemical handling, and waste disposal regulations.
• Assist with deep-cleaning activities, special cleaning projects, and other departmental assignments as required.
• Ensure a consistently high standard of guest experience through attention to detail and effective team supervision.

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor is required.
