The selected candidate(s) would be working with XLEAD - XLRI Leadership Education and Development at Jamshedpur and/or Delhi NCR, as assigned by the Institute.
Nature of Employment: Contractual, renewable in nature.
Broad Areas of Responsibility
- Manage hospitality, customer care, participant services, logistics, and service‑quality standards for executive education programmes.
- Coordinate accommodation, food and beverage, classroom readiness, transport, guest reception, helpdesk support, event logistics, and participant experience.
- Work closely with programme teams, faculty, clients, participants, vendors, housekeeping, security, facilities, and administration for seamless delivery.
- Monitor service requests, feedback, complaints, vendor performance, guest requirements, and corrective actions with timely follow‑up.
- Prepare hospitality plans, checklists, duty rosters, vendor trackers, service reports, feedback summaries, and programme closure notes.
- Ensure professional front‑office conduct, courteous communication, safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and service readiness across assigned facilities.
- Support cost control, inventory coordination, procurement inputs, billing verification, and compliance documentation related to hospitality services.
Requirements
Qualification & Experience
- Graduate degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, Travel and Tourism, Customer Service, or a relevant field. Postgraduate qualification will be preferred.
- Minimum 3‑5 years of relevant experience in hospitality operations, guest relations, customer care, facilities coordination, event logistics, or service management.
- Experience in executive education, academic institutions, hotels, conference centres, corporate guest houses, or training facilities will be an added advantage.
Language Preferences
- Command over English, both spoken and written.
Required Skillsets
- Strong communication, customer‑service orientation, leadership, managerial, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with AI tools and service‑management trackers.
- Ability to work independently as well as in teams, handle multiple service requirements, and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in work, professional attitude, adaptability, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate with faculty, participants, clients, staff, vendors, and external stakeholders with professionalism in every respect.
