The selected candidate(s) would be working with XLEAD - XLRI Leadership Education and Development at Jamshedpur and/or Delhi NCR, as assigned by the Institute.
Nature of Employment: Contractual, renewable in nature.
Broad Areas of Responsibility
- Manage accounts and finance operations for executive education programmes, including billing, receipts, payments, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Prepare invoices, fee trackers, client account statements, vendor payment records, programme profitability data, and financial summaries.
- Coordinate with programme teams, clients, vendors, participants, banks, auditors, and internal finance teams for timely financial processing.
- Maintain accurate ledgers, supporting documents, tax records, statutory deductions, approvals, purchase/payment documentation, and audit files.
- Support budget preparation, revenue tracking, receivable follow-up, expense monitoring, and month-end or programme-end closure.
- Ensure compliance with institutional finance policies, accounting practices, statutory requirements, and documentation standards.
- Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, reconciliation statements, and management updates for executive education finance review.
Qualified & Experience
- Postgraduate degree or higher in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a relevant field. CA Inter/ICWA/MBA Finance or equivalent professional qualification will be preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounts, finance, billing, reconciliation, taxation, audit support, or programme/project finance operations.
- Experience in executive education, educational institutions, service billing, ERP/accounting systems, or client-facing finance operations will be an added advantage.
Language Preferences
- Command over English, both spoken and written.
Required Skillsets
- Strong communication, analytical, documentation, coordination, interpersonal, and managerial skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with accounting software/ERP systems and AI tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as in teams, handle multiple financial tasks, and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail, accuracy in work, professional attitude, adaptability, confidentiality, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate with programme teams, clients, faculty, staff, vendors, auditors, and external stakeholders with professionalism in every respect.
