Job summary

EzyHelpers is seeking Home Helpers who blend home care and personal assistance. You will perform household tasks while supporting elderly or ill family members.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the home: sweeping, mopping, dusting, and tidying.
• Cook fresh, home-style meals according to family preferences.
• Wash dishes, handle laundry, ironing, and bed-making.
• Manage groceries and run small household errands.
• Keep the home organized, safe, and comfortable.
• Assist elderly members or patients with daily routines: bathing, grooming, dressing, and meals.
• Help with mobility and provide gentle support while walking.
• Provide medication reminders as instructed by the family.
• Maintain a friendly, supportive presence and report wellbeing concerns.
• Communicate openly with the family and the EzyHelpers Care Coordinator.

What you'll do

• Clean and maintain the home: sweeping, mopping, dusting, and tidying.

• Manage groceries and run small household errands.

• Provide medication reminders as instructed by the family.
• Keep a friendly eye on wellbeing and report anything that seems off.

• Maintain a respectful, trustworthy relationship with the household.
• Communicate openly with the family and your EzyHelpers Care Coordinator.
• Adapt to the family's routines and needs with patience and flexibility.

What we're looking for

Skills and experience required

• A caring, honest, and dependable person who takes pride in their work.
• Able to handle household tasks and physical support comfortably.
• Patient and respectful, especially with the elderly and unwell.
• Able to communicate in at least one of: Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, or English.
• Willing to complete background verification (a simple, standard process).
• For live-in roles: comfortable staying at the family's home as agreed.
• No formal degree is needed for most roles; sincerity, reliability, and a good heart matter most.

Nice to have

Bonus points if you have these

• Previous experience as a house help, cook, caregiver, patient attendant, or ayah.
• Cooking skills (South Indian, North Indian, or specific regional cuisine).
• Any care or nursing training, or experience with elderly or post‑surgery care.
