EzyHelpers in Bangalore is seeking a Caregiver Trainer to design and deliver training that makes every caregiver proficient in clinical basics, dignity-first hygiene, and dementia care. The role combines classroom instruction with field placements to continuously iterate the curriculum.

You will run onboarding and specialist tracks, maintain training materials, assess learners, and collaborate with hospital and academic partners.

Qualifications

• BSc Nursing or GNM diploma.
• 5+ years clinical or caregiver-management experience.
• Strong instructional skills — comfortable in front of a 15-person room.
• Empathy with first-generation learners.
• Curriculum design instinct — comfort writing and revising training materials.

Responsibilities

• Run onboarding for new caregiver cohorts (60 hours).
• Lead caregiver and specialist cohorts (dementia, bedridden, post-surgery, female-care).
• Deliver classroom modules, role-plays, and supervised home practice.
• Maintain and version the curriculum in written, illustrated, and video form.
• Assess trainees and certify them for placement.
• Spend 1–2 days a week in active placements observing real practice.
• Identify gaps between curriculum and field reality and close them.
• Run quarterly refresher programmes for active caregivers.
• Coach caregivers flagged by supervisors as needing support.
• Maintain the training space, equipment, and supplies.
• Document training outcomes — completion rates, ratings, and drop-offs.
• Represent EzyHelpers in hospital and academic partnerships.

About the role

The Caregiver Trainer owns the curriculum and the cohorts. You will run new-caregiver onboarding (60 hours), patient care attendant training (80 hours), and dementia/bedridden specialist tracks (120 hours each). Half your week is in our Indiranagar training space teaching — clinical basics, communication, dignity-first hygiene, dementia validation therapy, infection control, household safety. The other half is in the field, observing caregivers in real placements and writing the next iteration of the curriculum. This is the most consequential role in the care function. The training curriculum is the moat.

What you'll do

• Run new caregiver cohorts (8–15 trainees, 60 hours over 2.5 weeks).
• Run specialist cohorts (dementia, bedridden, post-surgery, female-care).
• Deliver classroom modules + role-plays + supervised home practice.
• Maintain and version the curriculum — written, illustrated, and on video.
• Assess trainees and certify them for placement.
• Spend 1–2 days a week in active placements observing real practice.

What we're looking for

Shift

• Daytime — 9 AM to 6 PM, 5 days a week. Weekends off.
• ₹50,000–₹80,000 / month — fixed daytime hours, weekends off.
