Job summary

Dalmia Bharat Group seeks a production and process leader to drive targets across output, quality, efficiency, cost and safety at the plant. You will oversee day‑to‑day production planning and ensure optimal resource utilization while coordinating with planning, maintenance, quality and logistics teams.

Responsibilities include implementing lean/Six Sigma initiatives, standardizing processes, reducing losses and energy use, and maintaining strict SOP adherence to ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required.
• Experience in production management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Production and Process teams to meet output, quality, efficiency, cost and safety targets.
• Plan, organize and control production activities to meet daily, monthly and annual targets.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, materials and equipment.
• Monitor KPIs such as yield, efficiency, downtime and cost per unit.
• Coordinate with planning, maintenance, quality and logistics for smooth plant operation.
• Analyze process parameters and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Standardize process parameters and ensure adherence to SOPs.
• Drive reduction in process losses, energy consumption and raw material wastage.
• Ensure product quality meets specifications and maintain ISO standards.
• Coordinate with QA/QC to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Enforce safety procedures and cultivate zero-incident culture.

• Production Management- Plan, organize, and control production activities to achieve daily, monthly, and annual targets.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPI) such as yield, efficiency, downtime, and cost per unit.
• Coordinate with planning, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams for smooth plant operation.
• Process Control & Improvement- Analyze process parameters and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Standardize process parameters and ensure strict adherence to SOPs.
• Drive reduction in process losses, energy consumption, and raw material wastage.
• Quality & Compliance- Ensure product quality meets internal and customer specifications.
• Maintain process documentation, audit compliance, and ISO standards.
• Coordinate with QA/QC to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Enforce safety procedures and ensure zero-incident culture.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety training programs.

• People Management- Lead, mentor, and develop the production and process teams.
• Plan workforce requirements, training, and succession planning.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and performance-driven culture.
• Reporting & Coordination- Prepare and present production performance reports to management.
