Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor and analyze the Nexthink environment to identify issues or bottlenecks.
• Develop case studies for clients and support project phases.
• Maintain issue trackers and provide progress reports to stakeholders.
• Create categories, investigations, and remote actions using Nexthink tools.
• Review high-level and low-level designs, SOWs, SOPs, KBs, and related documentation.
• Author new SOPs and KB articles to improve documentation.
• Collaborate with Network, AD, SCCM, Datacenter, and Wintel teams on dependencies.
• Develop PowerShell scripts for Nexthink Act modules as needed.
• Monitor engineering and deployment project plans against milestones.

Nexthink Consultant – L2

Summary

The Nexthink Consultant – L2 is a specialized technical role designed for professionals with 3 to 8 years of experience in desktop and server support, as well as system administration. This position focuses on leveraging Nexthink technology to optimize IT environments, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive operational efficiency. The consultant will play a pivotal role in analyzing system performance, developing strategic documentation, and coordinating cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive monitoring and analysis of the Nexthink environment to identify and resolve potential issues or performance bottlenecks.
  
• Develop comprehensive case studies for client presentations and subsequent implementation phases.
  
• Maintain and update issue trackers, providing regular progress reports to both internal management and external stakeholders.
  
• Utilize Nexthink capabilities to create categories, perform deep investigations, and execute remote actions.
  
• Evaluate and review high-level designs (HLD), low-level designs (LLD), Statements of Work (SOW), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), knowledge base articles, RACI matrices, metrics, and knowledge transfer checklists.
  
• Author new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and knowledge base (KB) articles to enhance organizational documentation.
  
• Collaborate with Network, Active Directory, SCCM, Datacenter, and Wintel teams to manage project dependencies and ensure alignment.
  
• Develop PowerShell scripts for Nexthink Act modules as required.
  
• Monitor and review the engineering and deployment project plans to track progress against milestones.
  

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise with Nexthink Finder, the Nexthink Portal, and deployment methodologies, including both Hybrid (On-Premise) and Cloud (SaaS) models.
  
• Proficient knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 operating systems.
  
• Solid understanding of Desktop Support operations across L1 and L3 tiers, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
  
• Familiarity with Intune and SCCM deployment tools.
  
• Ability to interpret and analyze system logs effectively.
  
• Strong customer-focused mindset with excellent coordination and interpersonal skills.
  
• Competence in various deployment tools such as SCCM, MDT, and Altiris.
  
• Foundational knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Servers, and networking concepts.
  
• Proficient working knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver professional presentations.
