Job summary

HanaV Manufacturing And Business Private Limited seeks a Junior NPD Engineer to support end-to-end product development from concept to production handover in Bengaluru.

You will work under senior engineers on design, prototyping, and production processes, coordinating prototype fabrication, BOM creation, SOP development, and supplier involvement to ensure manufacturability and quality.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, product development, or R&D.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (injection molding, sheet metal, machining, etc.).
• CAD software proficiency (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar).
• Understanding of quality and testing standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of new products based on market and internal requirements.
• Create and update CAD drawings and 3D models.
• Support material selection and design feasibility analysis.
• Work under senior engineers to prepare product specifications and development plans.
• Coordinate the fabrication of prototypes and pilot samples.
• Conduct functional, durability, and quality tests.
• Analyze test results and recommend design improvements.
• Support pilot production and ensure products meet manufacturing standards.
• Work with production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable.
• Assist in resolving production issues related to new products.
• Support process optimization and cost reduction initiatives.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM), technical drawings, and product documentation.
• Maintain NPD project timelines and report progress to head of NPD.
• Assist in creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new products.
• connect with suppliers for prototype components and materials.
• Support vendor evaluation and selection for manufacturing readiness.

The Junior NPD Engineer in a manufacturing company will support the end-to-end development of new products, from concept and design to production handover. The role focuses on improving product quality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness while ensuring alignment with production capabilities.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Product Design & Development
