Job summary

Propel Industries seeks a field service engineer responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing light and heavy commercial vehicles. You will work on-site at customer locations, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure minimal downtime through proactive service.

Ideal candidates have 3-8 years in field service for trucks/buses, experience with OEMs or authorized dealers, and strong diagnostics.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of hands-on experience in field service, maintenance, or troubleshooting of LCVs/HCVs, trucks, or buses.
• Experience working with automotive OEMs or authorized dealerships.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to resolve vehicle breakdowns and technical issues.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and on-site service support.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Strong customer-handling skills and a commitment to minimizing vehicle downtime.
• Preferred: experience in electric commercial vehicles (EV trucks/buses).

Responsibilities

• Respond to field service calls and perform diagnostics and repairs on LCVs/HCVs, trucks, and buses.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and corrective repairs to ensure high vehicle uptime.
• Provide on-site service support and customer guidance to minimize downtime.
• Travel extensively within the territory to service customers and meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with OEMs and authorized dealerships as needed to resolve issues.

Locations: Coimbatore, Telangana, Pune , Palani, Kanchipuram, Bellary, and Andhra Pradesh,

3-8 years of hands-on experience in field service, maintenance, or troubleshooting of LCVs/HCVs, trucks, or buses.

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to resolve vehicle breakdowns and technical issues.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in electric commercial vehicles (EV trucks/buses) is an added advantage.
