• Diploma in Automobile or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 15 years of experience in commercial vehicle workshops or authorized dealerships.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic tools and manufacturer-recommended procedures.
• Repair and maintain vehicle electrical systems including wiring harnesses, batteries, alternators, starters, lighting, and accessories.
• Inspect, test and replace electrical components such as sensors, switches, relays, fuses and control modules.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and electronic systems during scheduled vehicle services.
• Troubleshoot and repair charging, starting, lighting and ignition systems.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in ABS, EBS, ECU and CAN Bus systems.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, circuits, and service manuals.
• Carry out electrical installations and modifications as per guidelines.
• Record repair details on job cards and workshop systems.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors, Technicians and Spare Parts teams to complete repairs efficiently.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Participate in technical training to stay updated with new vehicle technologies.
