• ITI in Electrician/Auto Electrician/Diesel Mechanic or equivalent required.
• Diploma in Automobile or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 15 years of experience in commercial vehicle workshops or authorized dealerships.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic tools and manufacturer-recommended procedures.
• Repair and maintain vehicle electrical systems including wiring harnesses, batteries, alternators, starters, lighting, and accessories.
• Inspect, test and replace electrical components such as sensors, switches, relays, fuses and control modules.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and electronic systems during scheduled vehicle services.
• Troubleshoot and repair charging, starting, lighting and ignition systems.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in ABS, EBS, ECU and CAN Bus systems.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, circuits, and service manuals.
• Carry out electrical installations and modifications as per guidelines.
• Record repair details on job cards and workshop systems.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors, Technicians and Spare Parts teams to complete repairs efficiently.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Participate in technical training to stay updated with new vehicle technologies.

Job Summary

The Electrician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical and electronic systems of commercial vehicles, including trucks and buses. The role involves ensuring vehicles are serviced efficiently, safely, and according to manufacturer standards to maximize vehicle reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic tools and manufacturer-recommended procedures.
• Repair and maintain vehicle electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, batteries, alternators, starters, lighting systems, and electrical accessories.
• Inspect, test, and replace electrical components such as sensors, switches, relays, fuses, and control modules.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and electronic systems during scheduled vehicle services.
• Troubleshoot and repair charging, starting, lighting, and ignition systems.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in ABS, EBS, ECU, and CAN Bus systems.

Required Qualifications
