Job summary

Pi Square Technologies in Hyderabad is seeking a capable IT support engineer to join our 24x7 operations team. You will apply hands-on Java/J2EE development, analyze code, and debug issues while writing efficient SQL queries, with basic Unix/Linux command proficiency.

You should be familiar with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy, and version control using Git/GitHub. The role requires strong communication and willingness to work in hybrid or remote-enabled environments and rotate shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong Java/J2EE programming experience.
• Proficient in Java/J2EE code analysis and debugging.
• Hands-on SQL query writing (intermediate to advanced).
• Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux commands.
• Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.).
• Knowledge of incident and problem management.
• Experience with version control (Git, GitHub, etc.).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility with shift timings (India shift hours 6AM–10PM) including weekends & holidays.
• Willingness to learn and work in-house programming.
• Flexibility to work in remote/Hybrid/complete WFO models.

Job description

Key Requirements :-

• Strong technical background & hands-on programming experience in Java/J2EE programming
• Strong technical background & hands-on experience in Java/J2EE code analysis & debugging
• Strong hands-on experience in writing SQL queries from intermediate to advanced complexity.
• Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux commands
• Knowledge of any ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy etc.)
• Knowledge of Incident & problem management
• Knowledge of code check-in/checkout & code deployment
• Experience of handling high support volume
• Knowledge of versioning tools (Git, GitHub etc.)
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Flexibility with shift timings (India shift hours between 6AM to 10 PM) support on weekends & holidays (Rotational)
• Willingness to learn and work in-house programming
• Flexibility to work in remote/Hybrid/complete WFO models

Nice to have:
