Qualifications

• L2 production support experience for Java-based applications.

• Experience with release management, monitoring and RCA.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 production support for web-based apps and services.
• Resolve incidents, process service requests, meet SLAs.
• Monitor applications, perform health checks, provide operational support.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and fix issues across layers.
• Support deployments, release validation, and post-release monitoring.
• Perform RCA and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with development, infra, database and business teams.
• Analyze logs, SQL queries and dashboards to diagnose problems.
• Support problem/change/release management processes.
• Maintain operational docs, runbooks and knowledge articles.
• Participate in on-call and major incident handling as needed.
• Identify automation opportunities for process improvement.

The role involves providing end-to-end application support, incident resolution, release management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous service improvement for business-critical applications. The ideal candidate should possess a blend of development knowledge and support expertise to ensure application stability, performance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 production support for web-based applications and services.
• Resolve incidents, fulfil service requests, and ensure adherence to SLAs.
• Perform proactive application monitoring, health checks, and operational support activities.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues across multiple technology layers.
• Support production deployments, release validations, and post-release monitoring.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to reduce recurring incidents.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, and business teams for issue resolution.
• Analyse application logs, database queries, and monitoring dashboards to diagnose problems.
• Support problem management, change management, and release management processes.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, knowledge articles, and support runbooks.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident management activities as required.
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement of support processes.
