Job summary

In Solutions Global (ISG) is seeking a Software Engineer Java & Application Support to join our Chennai and Delhi teams. The role involves L2 production support for Java-based and Oracle ADF applications, with responsibilities spanning development, monitoring, RCA, and deployment activities.

You will work on Core Java, JSP, Servlets, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Oracle SQL/PLSQL, ensuring data validation and performance.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of experience in Java Development with L2 Application/Production Support.
• Hands-on experience in Core Java, JSP, Servlets, Spring MVC/Spring Boot.
• Strong experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, query optimization, and database troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting Oracle ADF applications is preferred.
• Exposure to RBI Regulatory Reporting, XBRL, and CIMS applications will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Banking/PSU/Government projects is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT/Electronics), BCA, MCA, M.Sc. IT, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 production support for Java-based and Oracle ADF applications.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance Java applications using Core Java, JSP, Servlets, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot.
• Monitor applications, troubleshoot production issues, and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Support RBI Regulatory Reporting, XBRL, and CIMS applications.
• Develop and optimize Oracle SQL queries and PL/SQL objects (Functions, Procedures, Packages, Triggers).
• Perform database analysis, reconciliation, and data validation.
• Monitor application performance, batch jobs, interfaces, and deployment activities.
• Coordinate with Development, DBA, Infrastructure, and Business teams for incident resolution.
• Participate in application enhancements, release management, UAT, and production deployments.
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
