Job summary

L&T Technology Services (LTTS) in Chennai seeks a HIL Test Engineer to perform Black box testing using engine simulators like dSPACE and validate engine features at system level.

You will develop test plans and reports for flash file testing, and build automation scripts in Python and VB.NET, while updating existing automation assets. A background in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical engineering with 3–5 years of experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in HIL testing or embedded software validation.
• Experience with dSPACE and engine simulators.
• Knowledge of CAN systems and testing tools.
• Strong communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform Black box testing using engine simulators like dSPACE
• Understand engine features and perform system level validation of engine features
• Develop the test plans and test reports for every flash file testing
• Develop automation scripts using Python, VB.net and other tools
• Update and maintain existing automation scripts

Skills

• Good experience in system level validation of embedded software using simulators such as dSPACE
• Good Trouble Shooting/Debugging skills
• Knowledge on Software testing and Tools (CANalayzer, CANape etc.)
• Good Communication

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering
