Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a skilled test engineer for embedded/automotive systems. You will perform HiL/SiL testing, validate ECUs, and develop automated test cases with Python or Perl. Strong knowledge of CAN, CAN FD, LIN and UDS Diagnostics is required to ensure robust test coverage.

Proficiency with Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, dSPACE, and MATLAB/Simulink is advantageous. Experience with CI/CD, defect tracking, Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262 adds value for this role in delivering safe and compliant

Qualifications

• Experience in hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop testing for automotive systems.
• Hands-on ECU validation and automated test development experience.
• Knowledge of CAN, CAN FD, LIN and UDS Diagnostics protocols.
• Familiar with automotive SPICE and ISO 26262 practices.

Job description

• Experience in HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and SiL (Software-in-the-Loop) test execution for embedded/automotive systems.
• Strong programming and test automation skills using Python and/or Perl.
• Hands-on experience with ECU validation, automated test case development, and test result analysis.
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, CAN FD, LIN, and UDS Diagnostics.
• Experience with tools like Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, dSPACE, and MATLAB/Simulink.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, defect tracking, Automotive SPICE, and ISO 26262 is an added advantage.
