Job summary

Carrerlift in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Test Engineer to develop and run test specifications for next-generation electrical architecture, including dSPACE HIL and Vector platforms.

You will debug system failures, coordinate with development teams, and implement test automation from project start. Based in Bangalore, this full-time role focuses on body electronics such as wiper systems, door control, and lighting.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech degree required.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Experience with CANoe, VTest Studio, CAPL.
• VT system or dSPACE HIL experience.
• Familiarity with diagnostics and network management.
• CAN and LIN communication protocols knowledge.
• Git basics.
• BCM domain knowledge.
• Experience with body electronics functions (e.g., wiper, sunroof, door control).
• Ability to write test cases from system requirements.
• UDS-based testing and DoIP experience preferred.
• Vector Test Bench experience.
• HIL environment setup basics.

About the role

• Develop and execute test specifications and scripts for next-generation electrical architecture
• Run test cases on dSPACE HIL or Vector platforms
• Debug system failures, analyze results and log defects
• Work with system developers to resolve observed issues
• Collaborate with other testers to improve HIL testing quality
• Implement test automation from project start
