Job summary

2COMS Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced JCB Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Technician to inspect, diagnose, service, maintain and repair JCB construction and earthmoving equipment. The role demands strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in heavy equipment maintenance, hands-on field experience, and familiarity with JCB diagnostics. Proficiency in English is essential for on-site communication and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in heavy equipment, construction machinery, earthmoving equipment, or diesel equipment maintenance.
• Experience working with JCB equipment is strongly preferred.
• JCB/manufacturer technical training or certification will be an advantage.
• Good English speaking and listening skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, servicing, and inspections of JCB equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults.
• Repair or replace defective components and assemblies.
• Conduct machine testing and performance checks after repairs.
• Install and configure attachments and accessories.
• Use JCB diagnostic software, JDS Portal, and specialized testing tools.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and repair documentation.
• Attend field breakdowns and emergency repairs when required.
• Follow JCB manufacturer standards and all workplace safety procedures.
