Job summary

Amor Management Consultants is seeking a Heat Treatment Production Engineer to oversee day-to-day heat treatment operations for gears and shafts in our manufacturing setup. You will lead shift activities, monitor furnaces, heat-treatment cycles and quality parameters to meet production targets.

You should have hands-on experience with CGCF Continuous Gas Carburizing Furnaces (Pusher Type), familiarity with Aichelin or similar OEMs, and strong skills in carburizing, quenching and tempering,

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Gear & Shaft Heat Treatment Production.
• Mandatory experience with CGCF – Continuous Gas Carburizing Furnace, Pusher Type.
• Experience with Aichelin or other reputed furnace OEMs.
• Good understanding of carburizing, quenching, tempering, hardness and case-depth requirements.
• Strong production, manpower management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Heat Treatment production and achieve shift-wise production targets.
• Operate and monitor CGCF Pusher Type Furnace for Gear & Shaft components.
• Monitor critical parameters including temperature, carbon potential, atmosphere and cycle time.
• Ensure proper carburizing, quenching and tempering processes.
• Monitor hardness, case depth and microstructure to ensure product quality.
• Manage manpower and coordinate with Quality, Maintenance and Production Planning teams.
• Analyze rejection, downtime and process deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain production/process records and ensure compliance with SOP, 5S, TPM and safety standards.
• Drive productivity, OEE and continuous improvement initiatives.
