Responsibilities

• Lead identification, evaluation and qualification of tender opportunities across domestic and export channels.
• Manage the complete tender lifecycle: document review, eligibility and compliance checks, technical and commercial bid preparation, and timely submission.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, quality and costing teams to build accurate, competitive technical and commercial proposals.
• Draft, review and negotiate contract terms, payment terms, Incoterms, warranties, liquidated damages and performance guarantees.
• Track EMD, security deposits, bid bonds and bank guarantees with finance and banking teams.
• Maintain a tender tracker and pipeline dashboard; monitor submission deadlines and report win/loss performance to the Director.
• Ensure submissions comply with customer, regulatory and international standards (ISO, GeM, pre-qualification criteria).
• Lead post-award contract administration, including amendments, variations and coordination with production and dispatch on delivery schedules.
• Build and mentor a small tendering team as order volumes grow.

About the opportunity

Pasondia Cables Pvt. Ltd., established in 1999, is a Ghaziabad-based manufacturer and exporter of cables and conductors serving power transmission, renewable energy, utilities and EPC projects across more than 30 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead identification, evaluation and qualification of tender opportunities across domestic (government, PSU, EPC) and export (international utility, EPC, distributor) channels.
• Manage the complete tender lifecycle: document review, eligibility and compliance checks, technical and commercial bid preparation, and timely submission.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, quality and costing teams to build accurate, competitive technical and commercial proposals.
• Draft, review and negotiate contract terms, payment terms, Incoterms, warranties, liquidated damages and performance guarantees in line with company risk policy.
• Track EMD, security deposits, bid bonds and bank guarantees in coordination with the finance and banking team.
• Maintain a tender tracker and pipeline dashboard; monitor submission deadlines and report win/loss performance to the Director.
• Ensure every submission complies with customer, regulatory and international standards (ISO, GeM, pre-qualification criteria).
• Lead post-award contract administration, including amendments, variations and coordination with production and dispatch on delivery schedules.

Candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent; an MBA is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in tendering, bidding or contracts management, preferably in the cable, conductor, power transmission or EPC industry.
• Proven experience with both domestic (government/PSU/GeM) and export tender processes.
• Strong understanding of commercial terms, Incoterms, LC/bank guarantee mechanisms and contract fundamentals.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Must be comfortable working full-time on-site at Ghaziabad.
