Job summary

Pasondia Cables Pvt Ltd is seeking a cable-design professional with hands‑on experience in the cable and conductor industry. You will contribute to design, costing, BOMs and tenders from the technical team, while coordinating with production and quality groups.

The role requires working knowledge of IEC/BS/EN standards and strong Excel-based costing skills. On‑site work at Ghaziabad’s Duhai Industrial Area is expected.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 4–10 years of direct, hands‑on experience in a cable or conductor manufacturing company — mandatory; candidates without cable or conductor industry experience will not be considered.
• Hands‑on experience designing LT/MV power cables, aerial bundled cables and/or overhead conductors.
• Strong understanding of conductor design, insulation, screening, armouring, sheathing and cable construction.
• Working knowledge of IEC 60228, IEC 60502, BS/BS EN, ASTM, NF/NFC and applicable UL standards.
• Strong Excel‑based costing and calculation skills.
• Experience with cable‑design software, ERP and AutoCAD preferred.
• Able to work full‑time on‑site at our Duhai Industrial Area facility in Ghaziabad.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cable construction, design and costing sheets.
• Calculate material consumption, cable weight, dimensions and electrical parameters.
• Prepare BOMs and issue technical manufacturing information to plants.
• Review customer specifications, tenders and technical enquiries.
• Prepare technical datasheets, GTPs, compliance statements and tender submissions.
• Support costing and commercial teams with accurate material and process calculations.
• Coordinate with production, quality, procurement and sales teams.
• Optimise designs for technical compliance and cost competitiveness.
• Work with standards including IEC, BS/BS EN, ASTM, NF/NFC and UL.
• Maintain design records, revisions and approved technical documentation.
• Support new-product development and international approval activities.
