Job summary

Michael Page in Bengaluru seeks a Senior SCM leader to drive end-to-end supply chain strategy for a fast-growing engineering organization. You will own global sourcing, procurement, vendor development, inventory, and logistics to optimize cost, quality and delivery across markets.

Leading BOM-based sourcing for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and engineered components, you will build supplier networks and partner with engineering for NPD while driving ERP/MRP-enabled transformation

Qualifications

• Must have 15+ years in SCM within industrial equipment, semiconductors, oil & gas, or heavy engineering.
• Proven experience in global BOM-based sourcing and strategic procurement.
• Experience managing ₹200Cr+ sourcingSpend across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and engineered components.
• Strong exposure to sourcing across multiple global markets and ability to support NPD.

The Successful Applicant

• A candidate will hold an Engineering degree with 15+ years of experience leading Supply Chain functions within industrial equipment, process industries, semiconductors, specialty gases, oil & gas, or heavy engineering.
• Proven expertise in global BOM‑based sourcing, strategic procurement, vendor development, and contract negotiations, managing ₹200Cr+ sourcing spend across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, auxiliary systems, and engineered components.
• Strong exposure to sourcing across North America, Europe, Japan, and other global markets, partnering with Engineering teams to support new product development (NPD), inventory optimisation, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and leading high‑performing SCM teams will be highly preferred.
